Went Sunday night to the we were given set menus as an alternative to the buffet and it was fantastic

I booked at very short notice for a meal after a Great Central Railway Santa Steam Special for twelve. Fabulous meal, the staff were a delight and can't praise them enough. Don't let the smart but functional decor put you off. The Laughing Buddah of Loughborough is treasure.

Food was fantastic, loads to choose from and all freshly cooked, even my dad said how lovely the food was and he never compliments anything! Prices were very reasonable. We were made to feel welcome, the staff were lovely. Will visit again next time we visit Loughborough. Highly recommend.

I only had a take out , but the staff were so nice we chatted why I was waiting , the beef curry and boiled rich which I ordered was absolutely gorgeous, great portion size and the taste was amazing, the price was very reasonable too , my first Chinese curry back in Leicestershire after 20 years in Yorkshire was spot on .
